SCHOLARSHIPS
Through a partnership with the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), the CGSCDC proudly donates funds to sponsor grant assistance for deserving dependent children of Officer and Enlisted Coast Guard members. The application process is administered by the MOAA Scholarship Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please email us if you have further questions about the CGSCDC Scholarship. APPLICATIONS Deadlines: Application opens November 1 and closes on March 1. Requirements: Student must be attending an accredited college or university full time, under 24 years old, with a parent who is: active duty, retired, or former officer OR active duty or retired enlisted. Minimum high school GPA of 3.0. Selection criteria: scholastic ability (1/3), extracurricular activities (1/3), and financial need (1/3). Apply at: www.moaa.org/education.
